The Phardis Calvenzano plant is authorised to custody and distribute narcotics, in compliance with Decree Law 309/90 regulating the sector. The authorisation issued by the Ministry for Health, valid for two years subject to renewal, provides for application of special procedures on managing narcotics from when they arrive in the warehouse, storage and on to distribution.
These activities involved registering with the Ministry website and authorisation needed to import and export, and periodical reports on amounts managed. A complex, delicate activity, managed by trained personnel and under the Manager's direct control. Work is carried out in compliance with laws in force, using a controlled access cage where products classified as narcotics are stored.
